This second live recording from Pete & The DeVilles is something special (the other one is the 1999 Live @ Narooma). We decided to release this to commemorate the 10 years since the DeVilles came to life. This was originally earmarked as a DVD release, but problems with the Video quality made us change plans & release the concert as a CD. Recorded at the Miena Shearing Shed up at Great Lake in the middle of Tassie, this has all the songs & guitar licks that have made Pete & The DeVilles one of Australia's premier blues bands. Also to make this special, the band is the 'original' DeVilles - Bruce Cornelius on drums & 'Uncle' Phil Wilson on Bass. This lineup last recorded on the 2001 release Gotta Live. Live At The Lakes is just a great fun album with excellent music that reminds you why you love blues, especially when it is played live!
