Ruf Records has released three studio albums from Friend ‘n Fellow so far – it is about time for a live CD! Everyone who has had the pleasure to see the duo at a concert has been carried away by the perfect live performance. The magic voice of Constanze Friend, the rich guitar grooves of Thomas Fellow – they mediate this live feeling on their new 2-CD set now. The songs were recorded in Weimar, Germany in May 2003.

Friend’n Fellow look back to the last years, they sing and play their most beautiful songs. With the terms “acoustic soul” they describe themselves the blend of the different musical roots. Blues legend Luther Allison, who was their mentor and friend, called it “the sound of the new century”. Friend’n Fellow belong without any doubt to the most successful acts concerning the points of contact between Jazz, Blues and Soul.
